Certificates Offered: OPE Certification in Outdoor Power Equipment Electrical Systems Instructor: Charles E. Dearborn Jr This Small Engine Repair Technology workshop includes classroom and shop experiences directed at maintaining and repairing a variety of electrical systems used on outdoor power equipment and engines used on lawn, garden and portable power equipment. The instructional units emphasize the complete troubleshooting and repair of various electrical systems found on the equipment and engines related to their use. This program is designed to prepare qualified students to take the OPE Technician Certification Test in the area of Outdoor Power Electrical Systems. Students will gain the necessary knowledge and “Hands on Skills” to service OPE electrical systems successfully.
